Doomsday Scenario

"Kauai Love Story" is a play set on the island of Kauai after two worldwide pandemics. It explores themes of survival, love, and the impact of advanced technology on humanity. The story centers on Danny, a Kauai resident, and the unexpected arrival of his old friends, Burnzie and Frankie, during a month-long Peace, Love, and Aloha festival. Burnzie brings news of a secret government initiative involving a deadly virus and artificial intelligence. Frankie reveals her own involvement with the project and a shocking plan to reduce the world's population to save the environment.  Ultimately, the play examines the choices individuals make when faced with existential threats and the importance of community in the face of adversity.
