Building the Bridge

Kauaʻi has stories, storytellers, and passion for theatre. Unlike Oʻahu, home to institutions like Kumu Kahua Theatre that actively develop new playwrights, Kauaʻi lacks an organized way for original work to grow and reach a wider audience.

Aloha Common Theatre is building that bridge — starting with our founding production, Apocalypse and Aloha, and continuing by connecting Kauaʻi writers to opportunities on Oʻahu.

Every island voice deserves a stage. We're here to help build the road that gets them there.
